Swing into summer at the West Reading Playground

The West Reading Playground Program is open to children ages 5-12 (child must be 5 years old prior to September 1st) who either reside in the Borough, attend Wyomissing School District or Sacred Heart School or employees of a Borough business. There are a variety of activities such as games, arts and crafts, dancing, and swimming/water activities. Your child will have the opportunity to make new friends, connect with old friends, partake in our field trips, as well as learn many new activities that our trained staff will lead.

Some of our planned field trips for the 2024 season include Dutch Lanes Bowling, Reading Railroad Heritage Museum, Reading Museum and Planetarium, and more! The price for the field trip package is $150 per child. There are no refunds for unattended trips. Playground management and staff will not accept any field trip forms the day of the trip. Please do not send your child to the playground on field trip days if they are not attending as our staff will be accompanying the children on the field trip.  

A 10% discount will be offered when you register your child by 5:00 p.m. on Friday May 3, 2024. Payment must be made in full. Please use the registration forms listed below and submit via email to mesterly@westreadingborough.org or via the drop box located in the Borough Hall parking lot. Proof of residency will be required.

 
Full payment and completed registration packet must be received by Borough Hall Office no later than 5:00 p.m. the day of the deadline to receive that tiered pricing. Applications received after 5:00 p.m. will be marked with the following day's date. Registrations received via the mail will be marked on the date the Borough Hall Office receives the completed packet. The Borough Hall Office is not responsible for any applications lost in the mail. Registrations received with incomplete information will not be processed or marked as "received" until all forms are completed.

Every Friday is Pool Day, so bring your swimsuit and towel to enjoy an afternoon at the West Reading Pool!

Special events/guests will be listed on the bulletin board, there will also be an end of the season party. 

Register anytime at Borough Hall Monday - Friday between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Registration forms will be accepted until May 31, 2024.
