Bicentennial House

The Bicentennial House was introduced back in 1976 by Elta K. Bitz. The Bicentennial House, located at 201 Playground Drive, West Reading is available for small parties, gatherings, meetings and special events. This building has a large gathering room with a full kitchen and handicapped accessible restrooms. There is also a green landscape for outdoor entertainment. For residents of the Borough please review the Borough Resident Agreement or non-residents please review the Non-Resident Agreement and then contact our office to ensure your event date is available. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.

• Bicentennial House Weekend & Holiday Rental Fee: Resident $200; Non-Resident $375 (50% down due at time of booking)
• Bicentennial House Weekday Rental Fee: Resident $100: Non-Resident $175 (50% down due at time of booking)
• Facility Deposit: $100 (returned following return of key and inspection of facility)

Pavilion

The Pavilion was built in 1939 by Wyomissing Industries, who helped provide funds for the stone field house. This recreation facility also has baseball/softball field, basketball and tennis courts, tot-lot, playground, outdoor exercise lot, community swimming pool, walking trails and a quarter-mile gravel track. The Pavilion is available for gatherings and small parties. For residents of the Borough please review the Resident Pavilion Rental Agreement  or non-residents please review the Non-Resident Pavilion Rental Agreement and then contact our office to ensure your event date is available. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Pavilion/Kitchen Rental Fee: Resident $200; Non-Resident $375 (50% due at booking)
• Pavilion/Kitchen with Field Fee: Resident $275; Non-Resident $425 (50% due at booking)
• Field Rental Fee: Resident $125 per game; Non-Resident $225 (50% due at booking)
• Facility Deposit: $100 (returned following inspection of facility)
