Weather permitting, the following nighttime paving projects are scheduled to begin on Sunday, August 2, 2026, between the hours of 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM:
Reading Avenue – Traffic Circle to Fourth Avenue
Court Street – Eighth Avenue to Seventh Avenue
South Sixth Avenue – Penn Avenue to Franklin Street
South Fourth Avenue – Franklin Street to Chestnut Street
South Second Avenue – Chestnut Street to Spruce Street
Parkview Road – Sycamore Road through the Playground Drive Intersection
The following daytime paving projects are scheduled to begin on Monday, August 3, 2026, between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM:
Cowboy Alley – (between Wayne Avenue and Spruce Street) Lakeview Drive to Seventh Avenue
Burgundy Alley – (between Cowboy Alley and Tulip Alley) Cowboy Alley to Wayne Avenue
The trash and recycling hauler has been requested to make this alley a priority by collecting early in the morning prior to paving activities. Please be sure to have your material out the night before collection.
These projects could present some inconveniences for residents and travelers alike. Please use extreme caution through changing traffic patterns and detour routes. Allow additional time during your travel through the borough for the safety of everyone!
