Environmental Advisory Council
The Environmental Advisory Council consists of seven members appointed by Borough Council that serve as an advisory group to Borough Council on the protection and conservation of natural resources.
In 2017 the West Reading Environmental Advisory Council was one of fifteen recipients in the country to be awarded a $5,000 grant by the Arbor Day Foundation for their 2017 CSX Transportation Tree Giveaway. Approximately 130 trees were provided to residents during the 2017 Harvest Festival event.
The public is invited and welcome to attend meetings, which are held on the 4th Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
