The following ordinance amendments are currently under consideration by the West Reading Borough Council. Please note that Borough Council may make amendments before final approval. Local ordinances are reviewed, recommended, and passed through civic engagement.
These amendments would allow parking on the west side of the 100 Block of North Seventh Avenue, and on the east side of the 200 Block of South Sixth Avenue, and would create a handicap parking space in the 300 Block of South Third Avenue. Sections 430-21 and 430-26 can be found in eCode 360. Â Â
Borough Council plans to vote on adopting these amendments during the Council meeting on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.Â
