The Borough of West Reading has reinstated CodeRED, our emergency notification system designed to keep residents informed and enhance public safety. CodeRED delivers important alerts directly to you by phone call, text message, and email during emergencies or situations that may impact your neighborhood.
CodeRED notifications may include:
- Severe weather alerts
- Public safety hazards
- Missing person alerts
- Road closures and traffic impacts
- Water service updates
- Other time-sensitive public service announcements
During an emergency, real-time updates can provide critical, potentially life-saving information.
How to Sign Up
Registration is FREE and EASY!
Online Registration
- Visit: https://accountportal.onsolve.net/WestSideRegionalEMA (click the link or copy and paste the URL into your browser)
- Click “REGISTER” (red button on the right side)
- Follow the on-screen prompts.
