Street Sweeping

April 1st through December 31st
Street Sweeper

Street sweeping keeps roads safe by removing debris that clog storm drains and reduces the amount of pollutants that collect on Borough streets. To avoid clogging the sweeper we ask that you please place Borough tree branches in the planting strip/sidewalk area.

  • 1st & 3rd Tuesday: Walnut Street, Chestnut Street, Wayne Avenue, Sycamore Road and Linden Lane
  • 2nd & 4th Tuesday: N Third, N Fourth, and Summit Avenues, Kent Way, Oak Terrace and Ann Street

Please take note of signs posted on the street where you park to allow the Public Works Department to efficiently clean the street and avoid a parking ticket.

If a scheduled street cleaning day falls on a holiday, unless otherwise specified that street would not be cleaned until the following regular cleaning day.

Make sure to remove your vehicle at the appropriate time when streets are posted to avoid a parking ticket.
