Paving Project Update

As you are aware the alley paving project did not occur as scheduled. When the contractor was preparing for the project, it was determined that the original clay pipe sewer line was very shallow in some areas.  There was a great concern that the clay pipe could crack or break during the paving therefore it was decided not immediately move forward.  After much discussion Council opted not to move forward at this time.  Replacement of water and/or sewer lines isn't something that should be rushed.

Trash and recycling pick-up will resume from the alley only. You may park in the alley as usual.

If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to contact Borough Hall.  We apologize for the confusing concerning this situation and we thank you for your patience.
