Come join us at Delaney Circle for an annual tree lighting ceremony being held on Friday, December 1st at 6:00 PM. Rain Date: Monday, December 4th.
This will be our 89th year of tree lighting! The tradition began in 1928 when the first tree lighting ceremony was held in front of Borough Hall with a few Council Members present. Little did our forefathers know what a tradition this would bring to the Borough.
Every year we celebrate in the night air with music and warm wishes. However, the fun does not end there! Join us on Penn Avenue for your chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Clause and caroling in the streets of West Reading.
