Holiday Tree Lighting - Rescheduled

The tradition began in 1928 when the first tree lighting was held in front of Borough Hall with a few Council Members present. Little did our forefathers know that they launched what became a tree lighting tradition! The tree lighting ceremony was moved to Delaney Circle in the 1990's where we can celebrate the night air with music, dancing and warm wishes.

In lieu of gathering at Delaney Circle this year we ask that all West Reading residents get into the holiday spirit this season by turning on their Christmas lights at the same time.

Due to heavy rain being forecasted on the evening of December 4th, the event has been moved to Saturday, December 5th at 6:00 p.m.
