Around the world measures are being taken to contain the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Therefore, Borough Administration has decided to close Borough Hall to the public in order to protect essential services. West Reading Borough Hall will be closed to the public until April 13th. The administration will continue to monitor COVID-19 and will reevaluate and decide whether continued closure is necessary. Staff will remain on site and will be available to answer calls and emails Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM.
“As Pennsylvania continues to see more cases of community transmission, we are taking this precautionary measure to ensure there is no disruption in essential services. We will continue to work with our local and regional partners to do everything in our power to keep residents safe and healthy,” said Council President Jack Gombach.
