DESCRIPTION:The West Reading kids’ fishing rodeo is back for 2026! Registration is $10\, and the event is open to borough children from ages 4-13. Registration forms are available at Borough Hall or on the borough website. A free T-shirt will be provided to all registered participants\, along with prizes for netting a golden trout and a trophy for the biggest trout caught. Fishing will begin at 9:00 AM\, with awards at 12:15 PM. NO registrations will be accepted on the day of the rodeo. Please bring ice and plastic bags if you plan on keeping your harvest. We will have fish cleaning available on site.

Our passion is educating our customers on the benefits and positive impact of committing to supporting locally grown and produced foods. We offer a variety of seasonal vegetables and fruits\, artisan pastries\, cookies\, and organic breads\, pastured meats\, poultry\, and eggs\, cheeses\, raw local honey\, hand-made ravioli and pasta\, olive oil\, locally roasted coffee and blended teas\, fresh cut flowers\, herbal tinctures and body products\, locally fermented cider and beer. All value-added producers are highly encouraged to source local ingredients whenever possible. \nEvery market features live music\, free samples\, and our primary goal of serving as a gathering place for those who love local foods\, while supporting our vendors in getting their goods to the community.
