Election News -  Important Information for Borough Residents
Your Vote

Voting locations are held at the West Reading Fire Department located at 223 Playground Drive and at the Borough Hall located at 500 Chestnut Street. The First Precinct is generally the north eastern half of the Borough. The Third Precinct is generally the western half and the southern portion of the Borough and both vote at Borough Hall.

Voter Identification

Are you voting in this election district for the first time?

If you answered YES, then you will be required to provide one of the following approved forms of identification.

Approved forms of photo identification:

(ID must be valid)

  • PA Driver's license or ID card issued by Penn DOT
  • ID issued by any other Commonwealth agency
  • ID issued by the U.S. Government
  • U.S. Passport
  • U.S. Armed Forces ID
  • Student ID
  • Employee ID

Approved forms of non-photo identification:

(ID must include name & address of the elector)

  • Voter's identification card issued by the voter registration commission
  • Non-photo ID issued by the Commonwealth
  • Non-photo ID issued by the U.S. Government
  • Firearm permit
  • Current utility bill
  • Current bank statement
  • Current paycheck
  • Government check
